DALLAS -- Howard B. Wolf Inc. reported earnings in the third quarter ended Feb. 28 rose 15.8 percent, to $208,130, or 20 cents a share, from $179,676, or 17 cents, a year ago.

Sales were up 14.4 percent, to $3.7 million from $3.3 million in the year-ago period.

For the nine months, earnings of the women's apparel manufacturer increased 20.3 percent, to $630,559, or 60 cents a share, from $524,222, or 50 cents.

Sales increased 12.8 percent, to $10.8 million from $9.6 million.
