WASHINGTON — The Senate has confirmed Stefan Selig, a former Bank of America senior executive, as undersecretary of international trade at the Commerce Department, where he will help coordinate President Obama’s Made in America push and national export initiative.

Selig succeeds Francisco Sanchez, who stepped down in the fall to take a job in the private sector.
