PARIS — The Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode, French fashion’s top governing body, announced Wednesday that the Chambre Syndicale for ready-to-wear has elected four companies as new members.
Acne — already part of the Chambre Syndicale for men’s fashion — Anthony Vaccarello, Jitrois and Viktor & Rolf, joined the ready-to-wear association that comprises around 80 members.
The federation also said that the Chambre Syndicale of ready-to-wear’s executive board has unanimously elected as its new president Ralph Toledano, president of Puig’s fashion division. He replaces Guillaume de Seynes, Hermès International’s managing director, who became the association’s vice president along with Jean-Marc Loubier, Sonia Rykiel’s chairman.
“I was touched by the fact that she lost her father, really before his time, and it was a real shock. She had two young children, she was married and she was expecting that she would have her own life for a good 25 years,” said Claire Foy about playing a young Queen Elizabeth in Netflix’s The Crown. “It transcends the genre that is you think of a sci-fi show — you don’t expect it to be so profound or emotionally riveting,” Evan Rachel Wood told WWD of her Emmy nominated role in Westworld. styled by @samanthamcmillen_stylist 📸 @emmanmontalvan #emmys2017 #wwdeye
