LONDON — Bernard Fornas will become a member of the board of directors of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, pending approval of shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting.
Fornas is currently joint deputy chief executive officer of Richemont — parent of brands including Cartier, IWC, and Chloé — and is a member of its group management committee. He was previously chief executive of Cartier from 2002 to 2012.
As reported, as of April 1, Fornas will become co-chief executive of Richemont along with Richard Lepeu, who will also become co-chief executive.
The company’s AGM is set for September. Fornas will serve as an executive director of the board. Lepeu has been a member of the board since 2004.
