Burberry has promoted Stacey Cartwright to executive vice president and chief financial officer at the company. Cartwright has held the position of chief financial officer at Burberry for the past four years.
“As CFO Stacey has built a world-class finance and IT organization, together with strong risk management and legal teams for Burberry that now partner closely with every functional department, to assure our continued success,” the company said.
During Cartwright’s tenure at Burberry, the company has seen two consecutive years of double-digit revenue and profit growth. Cartwright will continue to report to Angela Ahrendts, chief executive officer of Burberry. Prior to joining Burberry, Cartwright was chief financial officer of Egg Group plc, a financial services provider listed on the London Stock Exchange.
