LONDON — Burberry chief executive officer Angela Ahrendts, who has boosted profits 23 percent in her first full year, is powering ahead in the salary stakes, too.
An executive compensation survey published in London’s Guardian newspaper Thursday said that last year, Ahrendts was the highest paid female executive within the U.K.’s FTSE 350 companies, the 350 largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. The report said Ahrendts earned slightly less than 4.2 million pounds, or $7.35 million at current exchange, in the year ended March, when profits hit $271 million.
