London — Carmen Borgonovo has resigned from her role as fashion director of the British online retailer My-Wardrobe.com, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The company said that Borgonovo had resigned to “pursue other opportunities in the fashion, retail and digital sector.” A spokeswoman for My-Wardrobe.com said that Borgonovo’s role is currently being absorbed by other members of the team.
As reported, My-Wardrobe.com was sold to Growth Capital Acquisitions Limited in a pre-pack administration deal in November. Following the deal, David Worby, formerly the firm’s global chief executive officer, left the business, with Borgonovo’s role one of the positions that was retained after the company’s sale. Borgonovo, who joined My-Wardrobe.com in late 2012, was formerly senior style editor at British Harper’s Bazaar, after holding roles at W magazine and American Vogue.
