Cartier Appoints New General Manager for France

Coralie de Fontenay, a company veteran since 1995, has taken over the position.

PARIS — Cartier has appointed Coralie de Fontenay as general manager of Cartier France, succeeding Cyrille Vigneron.


De Fontenay, 40, is a graduate of HEC Paris business school and joined Cartier in 1995.


After a stint in London, she returned to Paris in 1996 to take on various marketing positions at Cartier International, overseeing the launch of jewelry collections including Le Baiser du Dragon and Charms de Cartier, as well as accessories such as the Marcello handbag.


Most recently, de Fontenay was general manager of Cartier Fragrances at Cartier International, supervising the launch of fragrances including Baiser Volé and Déclaration d’un Soir.
