Chico’s has filled several top management jobs.
Elaine L. Boltz was named senior vice president, strategy and consumer research, a new position. Boltz will lead direct-to-consumer efforts, including catalogue and e-commerce, and develop strategies for consumer insight and research. Boltz was most recently executive vice president, corporate strategy, and chief marketing officer for AnnTaylor Stores Corp.
Judd Harner was appointed senior vice president, chief marketing officer for the Chico’s brand, replacing Michael Leedy, chief marketing officer, who resigned in November. Harner will report to Michele Cloutier, brand president of Chico’s. Harner was president and chief operating officer for Desgrippes Gobe, a branding and design firm, where he worked with Chico’s on brand strategy.
George M. Reider, was named senior vice president, White House|Black Market stores. Reider will lead regional and district sales and report to Donna Noce, brand president of White House|Black Market. Reider was president of retail for S. Schwab Co., and has worked for Gap Inc., Ann Taylor and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Ronald L. Shulman was appointed vice president of production and sourcing. Shulman fills a position vacated by Charles MacMurray, who left the company. Shulman served as vice president of sourcing for J.C. Penney Co. Inc. and worked for Limited Brands Inc.
Evelyn Reynolds was selected vice president of Chico’s merchandising, and will oversee the woven and accessories businesses for the Chico’s brand. Reynolds was vice president, accessories, gifts and spa at Coldwater Creek, and held executive positions at Holt Renfrew.
Mary P. Tucker was named vice president of Chico’s merchandising, responsible for knitwear for the Chico’s brand. Tucker previously served as vice president, merchandise manager of the knitwear division at Victoria’s Secret Direct, and has also worked for Penney’s and Neiman Marcus.
“We continue to improve the bench strength of our leadership team with the recruitment of top talent,” Scott Edmonds, chairman, president and chief executive, said in a statement.
Chico’s has 1,037 women’s specialty stores, including stores in 48 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico operating under the Chico’s, White House|Black Market and Soma Intimates names.
