Chris Nakatani, most recently chief executive officer of PLV Studio, has joined The Apparel Group Ltd., a unit of the TAL Group Inc., as ceo.
Nakatani, who begins his new job today, reports to Roger Lee, ceo of TAL Group, and works from TAG’s offices in New York. The TAG business includes the Foxcroft and Paperwhite women’s divisions and, in men’s, the Enro and Damon brands. TAG also has a majority stake in New York-based Maker & Co. and is responsible for approximately $1.1 billion in sales at retail.
