Italian model-actress Elisa Sednaoui has been named the face of Roberto Cavalli’s new women’s scent, due out in spring.

Cavalli and his fragrance licensee, Coty Prestige, made the announcement in Florence Tuesday.

“As Cavalli’s house model, I feel like I have a tiger inside,” stated Sednaoui, adding that she was “grateful to have the opportunity to be the face of the new Roberto Cavalli fragrance.”

“Elisa is self-confident and she has an amazing personality,” stated Cavalli. “She has got this animal side, she is enthusiastic, really sexy with a stunning body and hypnotic eyes. She is the woman every woman would like to be, so she is the real Cavalli woman.”

Sednaoui will appear in both print and TV advertising for the scent. Print ads will be shot by Steven Klein, while Johan Renck will film the TV ads.

Sednaoui appeared in the French film “Bus Palladium,” directed by Christopher Thompson. Upcoming films include Davide Manuli’s Italian adaptation of “The Legend of Kaspar Hauser” with Vincent Gallo, and “L’amour dure trois ans,” an adaptation of Frédéric Beigbeder’s best-selling book.

“Elisa is the Cavalli woman,” stated Françoise Mariez, senior vice president of International European Marketing Licenses, Coty Prestige. “She embodies all the values of Cavalli: glamour, elegance and sexiness. She definitely doesn’t go unnoticed.”
