Eric Hunter has joined Kellwood Co. as senior vice president of marketing and brand awareness. He succeeds George Sokolowski, former senior vice president of strategy and chief marketing officer, who left the firm April 30. Hunter joins Kellwood from public relations and marketing firm PMK/HBH, where he was executive vice president. While there, Hunter worked with such brands as Nokia, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Verizon and Intel. Earlier, he was an agent at Creative Artists Agency, where he managed and executed strategic marketing platforms for client teams including Abercrombie & Fitch and Procter & Gamble. Hunter has also worked for News Corp./Twentieth Century Fox. At Kellwood, Hunter will manage the marketing strategy, communications and e-commerce/digital functions across all of Kellwood’s brands including Vince, Sag Harbor, XOXO and David Meister. He will work in both Kellwood’s Los Angeles and New York offices and reports to Michael Kramer, president and chief executive officer of Kellwood.
