BERLIN — Eric Liedtke has been named Adidas executive board member responsible for global brands, effective March 6.
He succeeds Erich Stamminger, who has opted not to extend his contract and is leaving the Adidas executive board March 5 for personal reasons.
Liedtke, a U.S. citizen, is currently senior vice president sport performance. He joined Adidas America in 1994 and held senior management positions there, including director of footwear marketing and vice-president brand marketing. In 2006, he moved to Adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany as senior vice present global brand marketing, working under Stamminger whom he now succeeds.
