The restructuring is taking place “in order to accelerate the development of its portfolio of brands in a complex market context,” the company said.

PARIS — New executive appointments, effective March 1, were announced Thursday for L’Oréal’s Professional Products division in France.

The restructuring is taking place “in order to accelerate the development of its portfolio of brands in a complex market context,” the company said.

Pascal Giliberti has been named managing director of L’Oréal Professional France, a new position. He formerly had been director of Redken in France.

Succeeding Giliberti at Redken will be Olivier Fourreau, currently managing director of the French markets for the division.

Meanwhile, Marc Planchon has been named managing director of American brands for Greater Europe. Prior to that, he was managing director of Matrix France, a role that is to be filled by Didier Becchetti. For the past two years Becchetti has been commercial director of L’Oréal Professionel France.
