MILAN — Giorgio Damiani is adding a new role to his resume.
The Damiani Group vice-president has been named chief executive officer of the Rocca 1974 watch retailer, which his family's luxury group acquired in 2008.
Rocca 1974, which currently operates 12 freestanding stores in Italy and Switzerland, is gearing up to make its debut in China, where the company is opening a boutique in Shanghai’s Yi Feng Galleria mall.
The Damani Group also owns several jewelry labels, including Damiani, Salvini, Calderoni 1840, Alfieri & St. John and Bliss.
Peter Kim's Los Angeles-based premium denim line has always had its finger on the pulse of youth. This season, novelty is back in a way reminiscent of early Aughts, with studs, lace-ups, racing waxed denim and more.
