J. Michael Prince, chief operating officer, and Dennis Secor, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Guess Inc., are both leaving the company.
Prince and Secor will remain at the company until Nov. 23 and Dec. 7, respectively. Both have resigned to pursue other interests, according to Guess.
The company doesn’t plan to replace the chief operating officer position immediately and will realign these responsibilities among various senior executives. Michael Relich, executive vice president and chief information officer, will assume the additional operational responsibilities, including logistics. Relich has been with Guess as its chief information officer for eight years.
Nigel Kershaw, vice president of finance and accounting, and treasurer, will assume the role of interim cfo, beginning Dec. 7. He has been with Guess for the past seven years in increasingly responsible roles.
“Given the depth of our management team, we expect a very smooth and orderly transition,” said Paul Marciano, chief executive officer.
