Huber Names Micha Siebenhandl CEO

The Austrian underwear group said he would take up the position on April 1.

BERLIN — Micha Siebenhandl has been named chairman and chief executive officer of the executive board of Austrian underwear group Huber Holding AG, effective April 1.

Siebenhandl replaces Mathais Boenke, who left the group earlier this month due to conflicting viewpoints regarding company strategy.

Huber Holding, based in Götzis, Austria, encompasses the Hanro, Skiny and Huber underwear brands, the Huber Shop retail business, as well as its own fabric production company, Arula.

Siebenhandl is currently vice-president and general manager of Rodenstock Eyewear, with headquarters in Munich. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with Marchon Inc., the New York premium eyewear group, where he first oversaw the German and Austrian markets, then Europe and lastly served as vice-president for global brands.
