British makeup brand Illamasqua has tapped celebrity nail artist Fleury Rose as its U.S. nail ambassador.

In her new role, Rose will be a spokeswoman for the Illamasqua Nail Varnish collection and share her expertise through the development of new colors and nail art designs. Rose will also serve as the face of the company for U.S. media initiatives.

Rose said of her position, “I am [pleased] to be working with a brand that pushes boundaries and is fearlessly creative because that is what I strive for in my work.” In the past, Rose has collaborated with photographers Arthur Belebeau, Ben Pogue, Bill Durgin, Christopher Logan, Jeffrey Graetsch, Jessica Craig-Martin, Kelsey Bennett, Monica Stevenson and Jason Nocito and her work has been featured in Teen Vogue, Paper and W. She also boasts a following of top clientele including Kaylee DeFer, Rye Rye, Chanel Iman, Florence Welch and Rooney Mara.

“Fleury’s creative, fearless vision is a perfect match for the Illamasqua brand,” said Julian Kingston, Illamasqua’s founder, also noting that “she is not afraid of self-expression or individuality.” Illamasqua’s nail products are available in the U.S. at Sephora and J.C. Penney Co. Inc., as well as Sephora online.
