- BEST TAPS MOELLERING: Luxury children's wear brand Best & Co. has named Catherine Moellering as president. Most recently, she was vice president and general manager at Narciso Rodriguez, a division of Liz Claiborne Inc. Moellering joined Claiborne in 2001 and held such posts as vice president for Liz Claiborne accessories and DKNY Jeans, juniors, men's and petites. Earlier this month, FAO Schwarz acquired the 128-year-old Best & Co. brand for an undisclosed sum. In her new position, Moellering will oversee all design, development, merchandising, marketing, sales and new business opportunities. She will work closely with creative director Susie Hilfiger and report to Ed Schmults, chief executive officer of FAO Schwarz. - PACSUN'S CFO CHANGE: Anaheim, Calif.-based Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. on Thursday said Michael Henry has been named interim chief financial officer, replacing Gerald Chaney, who resigned. He had been with the company for three years and no reason was given for his resignation. Henry has been with the company for seven years and was most recently vice president and controller. The teen retailer also said it plans to search for a permanent cfo.
