An agreement to sell the two brands was reached in January. Only three of the initial 16 brands that Claiborne placed under review have not been sold. Ellen Tracy, Kensie and Mac & Jac are the remaining brands left to be sorted out, and the company expects to resolve their fate by the end of the first quarter.
