NEW YORK — Jeff Sherman, president and chief operating officer of Polo Ralph Lauren Retail, is retiring.
Sherman joined Polo in 2004, reporting directly to Roger Farah, president and chief operating officer of Polo Ralph Lauren. Sherman helped grow the company's global retail business significantly over the past four years, and, as part of Farah's team, made a significant contribution to its success. His management also was instrumental in developing a new operating model critical to the brand's global retail rollout.

"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
