NEW YORK — Fran Lukas has been named as group president of the Victoria & Co. jewelry division of Jones Apparel Group, overseeing brands such as Nine West, Judith Jack, Rachel Rachel Roy and Givenchy.
She succeeds Mara Perlmutter, who left the company.
Most recently, Lukas was with Liz Claiborne Inc., where she was vice president and general manager for accessories-partnered brands. She managed a $100 million accessory division and oversaw the management of the Monet brand. That position won’t be filled, according to a Claiborne spokeswoman. Prior to Claiborne, Lukas was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Lunt Silversmiths, a privately held silver and home accessories company.
Lukas, who began Monday, reports to Andy Cohen, chief executive officer of footwear, accessories and retail at Jones.
"I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @victoriastevens; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
