Lululemon Nominates Coach Exec to Its Board

The activewear maker will vote on Jerry Stritzke's nomination on June 6.

Lululemon Athletica Inc. has nominated Coach Inc. president and chief operating officer Jerry Stritzke to it board.

The Vancouver-based yoga-inspired apparel retailer will vote on Stritzke’s nomination at its annual meeting on June 6.

Prior to joining Coach in 2008, Stritzke held senior executive positions at the Limited Brands Inc., including chief operating officer and co-leader of Victoria’s Secret. He also served as chief executive officer at Mast Industries.

Stritzke, who joined Limited Brands in 1999 as senior vice president of operations, will be able to bring his experience in global brand building to Lululemon, which is in the early stages of expanding to new markets.

“We’re at an exciting and important chapter for Lululemon and Jerry’s experience with international brands such as Coach and Victoria’s Secret will be an amazing addition to our board as we continue to build strong relationships in new communities around the  world,” said Lululemon founder and chairman Chip Wilson.
