LONDON — Christopher Colfer has been appointed to the board of online fashion marketplace Lyst, joining cofounders Chris Morton (chief executive officer) and Sebastjan Trepca (chief technology officer); Scott Sage, a partner at venture capital firm DFJ Esprit; and Alejandro Zubillaga.
Colfer has spent 13 years in senior management at Compagnie Financière Richemont, including a seven-year tenure as chief executive of Dunhill, which ended last year. He was also a member of the Net-a-Porter board from 2004 until this year, overseeing the initial Richemont investment and subsequent acquisition in February 2009.
Morton said that Colfer brings with him “not only exceptional experience, network and direct industry insight, but also a huge amount of energy about what the future of Lyst will be.”
Colfer added that he is excited about working with a “really talented group of individuals who control a brilliant business that is redefining how people shop online.”
