MAC Cosmetics executive James Gager has been named senior vice president and group creative director for the MAC Cosmetics, La Mer and Jo Malone brands globally. Gager, who was senior vice president and creative director for MAC Cosmetics Worldwide, will continue to report to John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. and will begin his new duties immediately.
In this newly created position, Gager will be responsible for all creative activity for the MAC Cosmetics, La Mer and Jo Malone brands. Since 1999, Gager has conceptualized all creative activity for the MAC Cosmetics brand, including collaborations with Mattel for Barbie for MAC and Lady Gaga for Viva Glam.
