Ricardo Quintero has been named president of Movado Group.
Quintero comes from the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., where he served as Clinique’s senior vice president, global general manager of market development. In his new role, Quintero will oversee Movado’s marketing and international expansion efforts. He will report to chairman and chief executive officer, Efraim Grinberg.
“Ricardo understands brands, how they connect with consumers around the world and the global landscape,” said Grinberg. Quintero’s predecessor, Rick Cote, who has served as president and chief operating officer since 2010, has been promoted to vice chairman. He will also retain his chief operating officer title. “In his new role, Rick will partner with Ricardo and myself to help us evolve our strategies and continue on a path of sustainable profit growth,” said Grinberg.
