LONDON — Mytheresa.com fashion director Justin O’Shea will leave his post at the end of March, the company said Tuesday.
The colorful O’Shea, with his dramatic dress sense, beard and tattoos, joined the retailer in 2001 and was promoted in January to fashion director. He also focused on “creating and driving distinctive, exclusive brand-building opportunities, be it product or content-related for mytheresa.com, on a global scale,” according to the company.
Before joining Mytheresa.com, the Australian native previously worked for denim retailers in Australia and Amsterdam and was a buyer at Al Ostoura, a luxury retail in Kuwait that operates 40 stores.
O’Shea will take on a new position outside the company. He could not immediately be reached for comment.
Mytheresa.com, which is a subsidiary of Neiman Marcus Group, said a replacement has not yet been confirmed.
“We would like to thank Justin for his vast contributions to the success of Mytheresa.com,” said the company’s president Michael Kliger. “His vision and passion have played a key role in growing the business, developing the brand and strengthening vendor relationships. We wish him all the best for his future endeavors.”
