The Neiman Marcus Group has named Tracy M. Preston senior vice president and general counsel, overseeing all legal operations. She will join the company on Feb. 18.
“Tracy has over 20 years’ experience on a full spectrum of corporate and regulatory issues,” said Karen Katz, NMG’s president and chief executive officer. Preston succeeds Nelson A. Bangs, who left several months ago. Preston was with Levi Strauss & Co, where she held various positions, including chief counsel, global supply chain, global human resources and litigation, and chief compliance officer. Earlier, she was a partner with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco.
