NEW YORK — Irving Joseph Bottner, former president and chief executive officer of Revlon's Professional Products Group, died May 31 in Delray Beach, Fla. He was 90.

The cause of death was complications from Alzheimer's disease, according to Edith Ann Ardison, Bottner's personal assistant for many years at Revlon.

Bottner ran the group from 1968 to 1991. In his career at Revlon, he also headed up Knomark Inc., a maker of Esquire Shoe Polish, and Schick Electric Shavers.

Bottner is survived by his wife, Roslyn, a son, Jeffrey, and a daughter, Barbara.
