Procter & Gamble Co.’s beauty division underwent a second seismic change in as many months, this time with the departure of Charles “Chip” Bergh, president of P&G’s global male grooming business unit, who was named chief executive officer of Levi Strauss & Co. Patrice Louvet, president, global prestige, will replace Bergh, moving from Geneva to Boston this summer. Joanne Crewes, currently vice president, global SK-II and female beauty, Australasian, ASEAN, India, Japan and Korea, will succeed Louvet. Crewes and Louvet assumed their new roles July 1....Sephora Americas named Lina Kutsovskay a vice president and executive creative director, a new post. Previously, she was vice president of advertising at Barneys New York. She has also held senior design roles at Teen Vogue and Nylon; she began her magazine design career at Vogue.... The Personal Care Products Council named Halyna Breslawec, Ph.D., its chief scientist, replacing John Bailey, Ph.D., who retired on July 29 a" er nine years of service. Breslawec will oversee the Council’s scientific programs, technical committees and publications and will serve as the industry’s scientific liaison for several domestic and international organizations. Previously, she was deputy director for the Cosmetic Ingredient Review, the industry’s independent review board in the U.S....Blow Pro Products LLC has attracted a lead investor to help it grow from $4 million in sales in 2010 to $15 million in sales in the next two to three years. David Maleh, an entrepreneur from the children’s apparel sector, has joined as president and will be funding its growth with “several million dollars,” which will help finance growth and new headquarters in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Maleh came from 20 years experience at Children’s Apparel Network, a family-owned company which sells to retailers ranging from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to Macy’s Inc.

The Adidas Originals NMD Hu, which Williams designed in collaboration with Chanel and @adidasoriginals, has a waiting list of over 120K people who pre-registered online at chanelatcolette.fr –– and only 500 pairs are on sale. “I just wanted to create this fully rounded character, but I do think what excited me most was just the opportunity to give a group of people representation that I feel needs it.
