Paul Witt has joined Perry Ellis International's Original Penguin brand as vice president of global marketing and communications, a new post.
Witt directs the global brand image for all Original Penguin wholesale and retail business. This includes domestic and international marketing and public relations, as well as domestic visual merchandising. His strategy will include new media and Web-based initiatives, grass roots development and the launch of an official Original Penguin zine. In addition, he will oversee support for the brand's planned 2008 retail expansion.
