MILAN — Furla said on Friday that Eraldo Poletto is returning to the company as chief executive officer, after Compagnie Financière Richemont’s announcement that Lancel chief executive officer Fabrizio Cardinali would take the reigns at Alfred Dunhill as of June 1. Poletto had been ceo at Alfred Dunhill from November 2012 until last month.

Furla stated that Poletto’s return to the Italian fashion brand was related to “the launch of major development plans set to accelerate the company’s growth and expansion.”

It added that the “decision underscores the appreciation and esteem that the company holds for the top manager as a consequence of his previous work and the ambitious results he achieved.”
