Seiko Corporation of America has named Yosh Kawada president and chief executive officer.
Kawada succeeds Kenji Hagiwara. He previously was senior vice president of the U.S. division. In his new role, Kawada will also serve as senior vice president for Seiko Watch Corp. in Tokyo. He joined the company in 1985 in Tokyo on the Pulsar team, splitting his time over the next 28 years between Tokyo, the U.S. and Hong Kong.
