Shelley Rozenwald, a 30-year veteran of beauty retailing, has joined The Bay as the head of the beauty operation of the Canadian department store chain. Her title is chief beauty adventurer, a designation applied in various forms to about 200 of the store’s top executives as a reference to the origins of the parent company, the Hudson’s Bay Co.
Rozenwald last worked as the president of Murale, a chain of high-end beauty and wellness stores launched in November 2008 by the innovative Shoppers Drug Mart Corp. Previously, she had a lengthy career at Holt Renfrew as senior vice president of cosmetics.
