BERLIN — After more than 40 years at the helm, Gerd Strehle has stepped down as chief executive officer of Strenesse AG. His son Luca Strehle will succeed him at the fashion company, in which the Strehle family holds the majority stake.

The management change at the Nördlingen, Germany-based firm was effective on April 1, when Gerd Strehle assumed the role of chairman of Strenesse’s supervisory board.
