LONDON — Sue Crewe, who edited the U.K. edition of House & Garden for more than two decades, will retire in October 2014, Condé Nast confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.

Nicholas Coleridge, president of Condé Nast International and managing director of Condé Nast Britain, called Crewe’s magazine “quintessentially English,” while showcasing homes from almost every part of the world.
