Symrise Names Senior VP of Global Fine Fragrances

The German fragrance and flavors supplier tapped Béatrice Mouleyre for the role.

BERLIN — German fragrance and flavors supplier Symrise AG has appointed Béatrice Mouleyre as senior vice president of its Global Fine Fragrances division. 


She assumes the newly created position immediately and is based in Paris.


Mouleyre has been with Holzminden, Germany-based Symrise since 1999, holding posts in its Fine Fragrance Creation and Global Account Management departments. Prior to that, she spent eight years at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. 


In her new role, Mouleyre oversees all activities pertaining to the creation and sales of fine fragrances for Symrise, with an accent on global strategy. As reported, the company registered 2011 net profits of 146.5 million euros, or $204 million at average exchange, up 9.7 percent year-on-year. Symrise’s sales gained 0.7 percent to 1.58 billion euros, or $2.21 billion. In May, the company raised its 2012 sales outlook to an increase of 3 percent to 5 percent.
