Target Corp. went outside its ranks to replace Michael Francis, naming former Gap Inc. executive Jeffrey J. Jones 2nd as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Jones, 44, was most recently a partner and president of McKinney, a Durham, N.C., ad agency. Prior to that he was executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Gap, responsible for marketing strategy, retail store design, store experience and consumer communication.
