Suzanne Beck has been appointed president of Tianhai Lace USA, a unit of Guangzhou, China-based Tianhai Lace Co. Ltd.
She will report to Jessie Jiang, director of sales for worldwide Tianhai lace business.
In the newly created role, Beck’s responsibilities will include assisting in new research and development and custom work with director of design Flora Chao, as well as ensuring Tianhai’s five yearly lace collections are properly presented by the sales team to the trade. Chao, internationally recognized for her innovative and commercial lace designs, brought Tianhai Lace to the U.S. more than a decade ago.
Beck had previously been Tianhai Lace USA’s vice president of sales since 2007. Prior to that, she spent three years as account executive at Takeda Lace Ltd. and 18 years at Liberty Fabrics.
“I go to China to visit our factory in Guangzhou and visit with customers in Hong Kong about every year. I also attend the Interfilière trade shows in Paris as well as Mode City and the Salon International de la Lingerie,” said Beck. “We have over 30 lace designers and two excellent young members of our sales team, Jennifer Murer and Jack Lin....It is with great pride I can say I have worked with Tianhai Lace for seven years now, and have watched them continue to develop and evolve as a major lace supplier of great quality and excellent designs.”
Tianhai, which employs more than 1,000 lace specialists, works with a number of major brands including Hanesbrands, Maidenform, Wacoal, Natori, Felina, Komar and Spanx, as well as retailers such as Victoria’s Secret, La Senza, Lane Bryant, aerie at American Eagle, Soma at Chico’s, J.C. Penney, Lane Bryant and Target.

The murals are McCoy’s interpretation of a Christmas eve party, the idea of charity and the spirit of family. His third mural, pictured here, is the most personal.
