PARIS — French alcoholic beverage company Rémy Cointreau Group has named Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet chief executive officer.
She is to join the group in mid-September and report to the group chairman François Hériard Dubreuil.
Chapoulaud-Floquet was most recently Louis Vuitton’s president and ceo for the Americas region.
Her successor at Vuitton has yet to be named, according to a spokeswoman for the luxury goods giant LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.
Chapoulaud-Floquet has also been Vuitton’s president for Southern Europe and ceo of Louis Vuitton Taiwan.
Before that, she was president of the luxury products division at L’Oréal USA and a 24-year veteran of the French beauty giant.
