As part the inaugural WWD Honors program, an annual celebration of creative vision, performance and leadership, nominations are now being accepted from the industry for the CEO Creative Leadership Award.
The WWD Honors event will anchor WWD’s 2016 CEO Summit on the evening of Oct. 25 at The Pierre hotel in New York. The Summit program runs through October 26. Earlier this month, Ralph Lauren was named the recipient of the first John B. Fairchild Honor, as chosen by editors of WWD, which will be presented that evening.
The CEO Creative Leadership Awards is part of a series of five honors to be awarded that night. The WWD Honors also will include recognition of top-performing companies and spotlight the retailer or brand that has made social responsibility a top priority. The recipients of those honors will be revealed at a later date.
The CEO Creative Leadership Award is a merit-based recognition that honors chief executive officers and creative leaders who demonstrate innovative and initiative-driven leadership that has had significant impact across a company’s culture and financial performance as well as the broader community. WWD editors will accept nomination forms from the industry as well as conduct its own review of potential candidates.
To request an application for the CEO Creative Leadership Award, email Arthur Zaczkiewicz at WWD at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Leadership Award.”
