PARIS — Finnish textile and clothing firm Marimekko said Wednesday it would fight to keep its floral Unikko trademarks following a challenge from Dolce & Gabbana.
The Italian luxury firm has filed an application with the European Union's Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market requesting Marimekko's trademarks of its red figure Unikko for textiles and textile goods and for clothing and headgear be declared invalid.
