PUMA EXTENDS LICENSING DEAL: Puma has extended its partnership with United Legwear Co. to make it the exclusive sock licensee for the brand in the U.S. The partnership is a three-year agreement that for the first time allows United Legwear distribution rights for Puma in Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Panama and Canada. The extended partnership will also focus on more athletic silhouettes and technical programs, such as moisture management and antimicrobial socks, as well as sustainable fabrications in bamboo and coconut.
PRINGLE BOWS IN HONG KONG: Pringle of Scotland is making inroads in Hong Kong. The brand has opened its first Hong Kong unit at the Elements mall. The new space spans 1,990 square feet and carries all the Pringle collections as well as Pringle 1815, a new line targeting a younger audience. The interiors feature burnt wood surfaces, mother-of-pearl wall panels and charcoal-colored sisal rugs. The brand currently has two stores in London, one in Tokyo and 43 wholesale doors in the U.S.
