Swipe Right: American Express Platinum Card holders are no strangers to swiping, and now the company wants to give their tony clients another chance to swipe — right, that is.
Amex has tapped 15 social, fashion and cultural tastemakers to partake in a new advisory board, designed to inspire and inform the continued developmentof access and experiences for card members, from fashion to dining. The Platinum Collective includes a range of personalities from the social media-adept jewelry designer, Jennifer Fisher, to Bronson van Wyck, designer of every New York City event that counts.
Others on the panel, led by Janey Whiteside, senior vice president of Global Charge Products, Benefits and Services, and Brad Minor, VP of Brand Experiential Marketing and Partnerships for Amex include: Rodrigo Bazan of Thom Browne; Morgan Collett of Saturdays NYC; Kristen Maxwell Cooper of XO Group; Stacey Griffith of SoulCycle; Jenné Lombardo of The Terminal Presents; Tobin Ludwig, Jomaree Pinkard and Eddie Simeon of The Hella Co.; Pamela Murphy of The Select 7; Viraj Puri of Gotham Greens, and Manish Vora of the Museum of Ice Cream.
The board will meet one to two times per quarter, and be active in an ongoing conversation with American Express in order to develop collaborations and experiences for the company’s client base.
