Heather Kaminetsky has joined Net-a-porter as vice president of marketing for the Americas.
She succeeds Tenley Zinke, head of communications, who left the company.
Most recently Kaminetsky was with Borderfree (formerly FiftyOne) as senior vice president of business management. She was in charge of overall business growth, client relationships, public relations and marketing. Earlier, Kaminetsky was vice president of marketing at Barneys New York, where she was responsible for overseeing marketing strategies and initiatives for the store and online. During her tenure, she headed several key initiatives, such as the launch of the e-commerce Web site and the development of the retailers’s digital marketing strategy.
In her new role, Kaminetsky will oversee all marketing and communications functions in the Americas. She reports to Lisa Bridgett, global sales and marketing director.
