NEW YORK — The Joseph Abboud brand will become the official men’s wear partner of the New York Giants as part of a larger marketing collaboration.

Highlighting the brand’s latest and largest investment in professional sports to date, the three-year deal will closely twin the New York-based brand to the team and will grant the company access to the Giants players, stadium and fan base for marketing and publicity activities.

The deal also gives JA access to the Giants’ database of 160,000 fans for direct marketing, calls for apparel presentations to Giants rookies during minicamp, entitles the brand to use Giants Stadium and its facilities for marketing and sales events, and details a number of marketing opportunities at the new $1.4 billion stadium itself.

Under terms of the deal, the brand will have a dedicated Joseph Abboud luxury suite and pregame Joseph Abboud display advertising on all suite-level monitors. The partnership will kick off with an event at the new stadium this year featuring players, Giants legends and coaches. The date of the event was not released.

It is not known if the deal allows JA to dress Giants players and staff or the conditions under which players could wear the Joseph Abboud brand.

Joseph Abboud already dresses 30 NFL coaches, including Giants head coach Tom Coughlin.
