Jennings, who starts his new job on Sept. 8, will be responsible for forecasting seasonal trends and working with the merchant and marketing teams. He will report to Terron Schaefer, group senior vice president, marketing. He succeeds Michael Macko, who left Saks to join Details earlier this year.

“This position allows me to draw on my creative, merchandising and sales experience to work at a national level across multiple price points, vendors and styles,” said Jennings.

Previously Jennings served as brand director of Hickey Freeman’s hickey collection. Before that, he held positions at Hugo Boss Fashions Inc., Giorgio Armani Fashion Corp., and Nordstrom Inc.
