DALLAS — Tailored jackets made of sweatshirt fabric, colorful printed tops, ponchos and accessories led strong bookings at Fashion Industry Gallery’s three-day market ended May 30, where buyers shopped for immediate goods, plus fall, holiday and pre-spring styles.
Ongoing jewelry trends included streamlined looks made of semiprecious gems and gold metal, statement necklaces, bohemian pendants and sparkling druzy minerals. The denim business dropped off and buyers looked for alternatives, such as draped pegged pants, according to buyers and sales representatives.
