ERICHSEN UNLEASHED: Anthony Vaccarello parlayed the sexy, severe vibe of the sculptural hardware accents in his spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection into eye-catching advertising featuring Freja Beha Erichsen.
The Danish model — appearing in two different urban shots by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and styled by Alastair McKimm — is shown crossing a street in Manhattan. In one she looks to be yelling.
It marks Erichsen’s debut for Vaccarello, who has not been featured before in the designer’s advertising nor walked his runway.
The Dutch fashion photographer duo has been shooting the house’s campaigns since the first one, for fall-winter 2014, with Franck Durand as creative director. Meanwhile, it’s a second season for McKimm’s collaboration.
The campaign is slated to hit international publications, starting with V Magazine, Vogue Paris and Self Service’s March issues.
