BALMAIN’S GLAMOUR: Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing has put his stamp on the November issue of U.K. Glamour, dubbed the magazine’s style issue. With Keira Knightley on the title’s cover in a one-sleeved Balmain military jacket, Rousteing has created a version of the cover with a leopard print background for the subscribers’ edition. Jo Elvin, editor of Glamour, said that Rousteing was prompted to work up the cover after he “was so pleased to see that Keira Knightley was wearing his design,” she said, adding that “subscribers have a true original.” Glamour’s November edition will be sent to subscribers later this week  while its newsstand edition is out Oct. 6. The magazine, which appointed Natalie Hartley, formerly of U.K. InStyle and The Sunday Times Style as its fashion director earlier this year, noted that its advertising pages from designer fashion brands are up 183 percent in the February through August 2014 period, versus the same period in 2013.
